Trains across France, as they run

Every TGV INOUI, OUIGO, Intercités, TER, Lyria and ICE leg that SNCF reports running now or due within the hour, placed between its stops by the clock. Zoom into a city and its buses, trams, metros and boats appear where they are by their own GPS, from 145 local networks. Tap a region to zoom in, a station for its board over the next two hours, a train for its whole run with the expected time at each stop. Red runs late. Green runs on time.

The local networks. Zoomed into a city, every bus, tram, metro and boat of the 145 networks that publish live positions with no key on France's national access point, read from each network's own feed about every 45 seconds while you look: Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nice, Rennes, Rouen, Toulon, Tours, Angers, Perpignan, the regional coaches of Occitanie, Normandy, Pays de la Loire and Centre, and the rest, down to one bus in Sarlat. A position feed names the line and the vehicle, so a tap shows those; the Paris networks publish only behind a key and are outside. transport.data.gouv.fr, each network under its own Licence Ouverte or ODbL, listed on 2026-11-07.
The trains. SNCF's live feed on the French national access point, read about once every two minutes. It names each train's stops with the expected time and the delay at each, in whole seconds, and flags cancelled trains and skipped stops. It carries no positions and no platforms, so a train sits at its last stop or moves by the clock towards its next one along the railway lines, and the page says so on each card. Trains added on the day arrive without a brand. The Paris RER and Transilien are outside the feed. Contient des informations de Horaires SNCF, sous licence ODbL.
The colours. A train is late when its delay at the next stop is a minute or more, and on time below that. A train yet to leave its first station shows grey. A cancelled train stays off the map and is named on the boards.
The map. Region outlines from IGN Admin Express (2018 edition) through france-geojson, under the Licence Ouverte. Stations, 3,280 in France and the rest across the border, from SNCF's timetable (ODbL). Railway lines © SNCF Réseau, from its line shapes (ODbL), lines in service only, simplified and redrawn; the file, rails.json, is offered under the ODbL too. Built on 2026-10-19.
